Aliens Exist

Aliens Exist

Do aliens exist? if so, did they visit our planet? Answering the first question is relatively easy, because the answer would simply be "Yes they do exist". As we entered the new millennium, it is becoming widely accepted that life should be abundant throughout the Galaxy, and that many civilizations should have long ago surpassed the level of knowledge that we now possess. As we gradually extend our perception further and further from Earth that gave us life, we cannot help but wonder: Where are they? Could it be that not one of them has ever visited this little corner of the Galaxy?

Are Aliens Real?

Frank Drake, in the early 1960s, came up with his famous equation (called the "Drake Equation") that calculated the possibility of extraterrestrial life. He determined that there was a possibility of 100,000 to 1,000,000 extraterrestrial civilizations in our galaxy (the Milky Way) alone. With so many complex and huge solar systems across the galaxy, the Earth cannot be the centre of the universe. Because if it is then what is the purpose of the rest of the huge universe? What a waste of space would that be!

Life exist somewhere out there for many reasons: look at the number of galaxies, The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) site estimates there is hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe. A recent German super-computer simulation estimates that the number of Galaxies may be as high as 500 billion! Wow 500 billion galaxies, remember this is not the number of stars or planets but galaxies. So you do the math! There are probably about 400 billion stars in the Milky Way, although "a 50% error either way is quite possible, multiply that by the number of galaxies in the universe, you will get the number of stars in the whole universe, now we’re interested mainly in the Milky Way. So let’s talk about planets that might be surrounding each star in the milky way, our solar system has 9 or 10 planets. Let’s assume that it’s lower around other stars, giving each star 5 planets, that’s 4.000.000.000.000 planets.

Now the number of planets capable of supporting life, let's assume that this is very rare among planets and rate it at only one habplanet (habitable planets) in a million. Simple division results in 4,000.000 habplanets in our galaxy capable of producing life. Frank Drake's own estimate puts the number of communicating civilizations in just our Galaxy alone at 10,000 which is the most conservative number, but still is a big number, because we’re not talking here about planets that have only life, or intelligent life but civilizations that are able to communicate with other civilizations (highly intelligent civilizations). If you wonder how accurate these statistics are, the answer would be well "they’re not", they’re not accurate because we only guess, but most of our guess is underestimating and very skeptical, in other words, the number of intelligent life in other planets could be even higher. Science day after day is proving that we were only underestimating the number of highly intelligent civilizations.

Water in Other Planets

Water is the main source of life on Earth, taking that into consideration, NASA announced recently that there is 'significant' water on moon. European scientists, using ultra cold orbiting telescopes, have discovered unimaginable volumes of water in inter-stellar space. This discovery raises questions about life elsewhere in the universe. Scientists were astounded to find water in the freezing atmosphere of Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn (and its moon Titan). On the moon Europa… They have even identified a cloud of water, less than a light year across, in the constellation Orion.

The other reason why we’re so optimistic is because we’re not in anyway unique, this is easy to justify on the basis that following the Big Bang the most abundant material in the universe was hydrogen and helium, being the simplest atoms, and this material forms the bulk of the raw ingredients for star formation. All stars begin life in the same manner, and apart from size, all stars begin pretty much the same, with this same process repeated many billions of times it would be only statistically reasonable to expect that many planets would have similar characteristics, and would be capable of supporting life in one form or another, just as our planet does.

Did Aliens Visit Earth?

In view of the incredibly high probability of extraterrestrial life existing out there, the question remains why we haven't yet detected any signs of it. Maybe they don’t want us to (yet), or maybe we are using the wrong technology to detect them, not all extraterrestrials think the same way we do, if they were thinking the way we do they wouldn’t have achieved what they achieved now, they wouldn’t have been able to visit us from far away planets, we are really primitive compared to them. Watch this video, it may clearify this idea even more.

Here is a list of other technologies that are so powerful, conquering them would mean conquering the world:
